MINEVILLE, N.Y. - Phyllis May (Urban) Allen, age 71, of Mineville, passed away on February 18th 2022 at the Elderwood Nursing Home in Ticonderoga, N.Y.
She was born on February 28th 1950 in Ticonderoga, N.Y., she was the daughter of Anthony A. and Bernice V. (Howard) Urban, one of five children.
She graduated from Moriah Central School Class of 1968.
She married John F. Allen Sr. on September 7th 1968. Together they had four sons. He predeceased her on May 10th 2002.
Phyllis was a Homemaker among many other things, with a heart of gold everyone was welcome in her house and treated as family.
Phyllis's greatest joy in life was her grandchildren among avid card playing, horses, shopping and hallmark movies as a hopeless romantic.
She was predeceased by her husband; John Allen, her parents; mother Bernice Urban on October 4th 2021 and father Anthony Urban on June 19th 1976, and one brother; John "Butch" A. Urban on June 6th 2002.
