Eba B. Harlan Passes At 72.
Eba B[radley] Harlan, 72, a resident of Smith Woods, Felton, died yesterday in a local hospital.

A native of Cottonwood, Merced county, she came here from the San Joaquin valley.

She is survived by her husband, Jerome, of Felton; two daughters, Phillis Martin [Morgan] of Livermore and Maude Edmonson of Fresno; a son, Jerome Jr. of Ben Lomond; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Kruger of Gustine and Mrs. Cora Brown of Hayward; and four grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Tinkler Mission chapel in Fresno. White's mortuary is in charge of local arrangements."

Funeral services held Tuesday at Fresno for Mrs. Eba Bradley Harlan, 72, of Riverdale, a native of Gustine and sister of Mrs. Roy Kruger here, who died Saturday of a heart attack in the Harlan summer home in Santa Cruz. Interment was in Washington Colony Cemetery near Fresno.

John Jerome Harlan, the widower, was with his wife at the time of death.

Mrs. Harlan was born in Gustine, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bradley, early day California settlers. She taught in the schools in Merced and Riverdale for some time and was active in social and civic affairs

She was a member of the Riverdale Women's Club, the Grange and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Besides the widower and the sister in Gustine she is survived by a son John Jerome Jr.; two daughters Mrs. Erman Morgan of Livermore and Mrs. Vance Edmonson of Merced; another sister Mrs. Cora E. Brown of Hayward and four grandchildren."
