He was commissioned Lieutenant of the second train band of Milford in Oct. of 1689, and chosen Deacon of the First Church of Milford in 1709.∼Samuel was the son of Edward Camp and Mary Canfield Camp. He married 3 times. His 1st wife was Hannah Betts and they married 13 Nov 1672 at Milford. Samuel's 2nd wife was Mary Camp daughter of William and Mary Smith Camp.
