In addition to his loving wife, Gloria, his survivors include sisters Frances Few of Birmingham, AL and Ann Tankersley of Travelers Rest, SC, beloved niece Brenda (Gary) Gist of Charleston, SC, beloved nephew Hayes (Jennifer) Albea of Etowah, NC, and their families: Shelby Gist of Charleston, SC; Valerie Gist and her daughter, Amelia Flynn, of Charleston, SC; Andrea Albea Vallencourt (Mike) and their daughter, Aliana, of Orange Park, FL; and, Megan Albea Nagy (Spence) of Jacksonville, FL. Cliff is also survived by his stepsons: Master Sergeant Will Andrus (Karin) of Foxboro, MA and their son, Sven, and family of Germany; and Chad Andrus (Sherrie) and their son, Jack, of Hendersonville, NC; and granddaughter, Brooke Williams, O' Fallany, IL. He will be greatly missed by his other nephews and nieces as well as numerous friends and cousins.
Cliff was proud of his military service in the U.S. Army for two tours. He was the well-known golf pro at the Hendersonville Country Club for 37 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Hendersonville. His humor, intellect, loyalty, and love will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Jackson's Funeral Home.
