LOUISA, Ky. - Sidney B. Edwards, 64, of Louisa, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio, died Nov. 25, 2000, in the VA Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va.
He was an executive director of Gallia & Meigs CAA, attended First Baptist Church, Louisa, and was a retired Marine Corps captain and a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving: wife, Sandra Edwards; son, Sidney R. of Point Pleasant, W.Va.; stepsons, Michael and Mark Whitt, both of Point Pleasant; stepdaughter, Tina Whitt of Point Pleasant; sister, Margaret Robinson of Dallas; three grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Deal Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Pastor Rick Frazier officiating. Military graveside service will be in Tu-Endie-Wei Park, Point Pleasant. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
