N. B. SMITHSON, 78, CLAIMED BY DEATH--Noah Buford Smithson, 78, farmer of the Fifth District, died at his home Friday night. He had been a member of Church of Christ for several years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jennie Lee Smithson, three daughters, Mrs. R. C. McBroom of Indiana, Mrs. Lester Curlee, of Texas, and Mrs. G. J. Duke, of Chattanooga, one son, Byron Smithson, ten grandchildren and one great - grandson. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the home, burial in Riverside cemetery. "The Cannon Courier", Woodbury, Tennessee, Feb. 10, 1939.
