Mr. Baldwin 86, of Charlotte, died Sunday June 3, 2007 at the Salisbury Veterans Hospital. Born in Mecklenburg County, NC on August 9, 1920, Herman was a life-long Charlotte resident. A US Navy Veteran of WWII, Herman had served aboard the USS Monticello. Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by a son, Steve.
Survivors are his wife, Christine Baldwin; son, Don Baldwin, both of the home. Daughters, Marie Robinson of Wilmington and Sandra Kay Johnson of Stanley, Gaston Co., NC.
A private family service will take place at a later date. "Remember him as he was."
