Robert L. Hubbard, 76, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on October 11, 2021 at his residence. He was born on March 1, 1945 in Corydon, IN.

He graduated from Ben Davis High School and proudly served as an airplane mechanic in the United States Air Force. His patriotism was an important part of Bob's life. He worked as an engineer for Rolls Royce for more than 40 years. Bob was a member of Southwest Church of the Nazarene. Following his retirement, he became very involved in genealogy. He also worked on Find-A-Grave extensively and was interested in cemetery history. Bob was a talented woodworker, a John Wayne fan and enjoyed jazz and music from the 40's and 50's. He will be fondly remembered for his friendliness, wisdom, intelligence and interest in helping others.

Survivors include his wife of more than 50 years, Catherine (Brown) Hubbard; five children; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Phillips.

Visitation for Bob Hubbard will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 10 AM to 12 noon at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. The funeral service will follow at noon. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery.
