Died, in Philadelphia, on the 20th ult. Mrs. Jane Purcell White of this city. In her death society has been deprived of of of its brightest ornaments, a father of an exemplary daughter, a husband of a beloved wife, a child of a devoted mother, and her immediate friends of an inestimable companion; she was gifted by nature with every requisite to endear her to them all - equammity of temper, softness of manners, and delicacy of mind, and, though young, was deeply impressed with the importance of religion, and died under the fervent hope, that through the merits of a crucified Redeemer, her soul might mingle the the "just made perfect."
