Katie L. Barlament, age 37, of 2727 N. County Road S, Whitelaw, died unexpectedly Thursday, August 25, 2016 at her residence.The former Katie Braun was born on August 21, 1979 in the town of Cato, daughter of Roger and Peggy (McGuire) Braun. She was a 1998 graduate of Valders High School. Katie graduated from LTC as an LPN. She has been working most recently for Sargento Cheese in Hilbert. On April 25, 1999, Katie was married to Christopher "Chris" V. Barlament at Clarks Mills.Survivors include her husband: Chris V. Barlament, Valders; three children: Calla Braun, Manitowoc and her special friend: Brady Lorrigan; Hannah M. Barlament, Whitelaw; Christopher J. Barlament, Valders; her parents: Roger and Peggy Braun, Cato; her maternal grandmother: Grace McGuire, Manitowoc; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Mark (Sakinah) Braun, Whitelaw; Dan (Nicole) Braun, Reedsville; Casey Braun, Cato; one sister and brother-in-law: Shelly (Craig) Wendling, Collins; father-in-law and mother-in-law: John and Karen Barlament, Manitowoc; three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Jennifer Barlament and Ray Oliver, VA; Jessica (John) Beine, West Bend; Andrea (Don) Steir, New Holstein, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Richard McGuire and one brother-in-law: Jason Barlament.A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville. The Rev. Tom Long will officiate.
