FALLS MILLS-Shirley Estep Hill, 92, of Falls Mills, died Saturday, February 14, 1998 in a Bluefield hospital.
She was born in October 14, 1905 in Grundy, Va. and was a daughter of Bud and Mary Dotson Estep. She attended Concord College and taught at elementary schools in the area. She was a member of the Macedonia United Methodist Church in Falls Mills.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Crockett Hill.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elmead (Peggy)Turner of Bassett, Va. and Mrs. Ted (Shirley) Hill of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother, Alda Estep of Welston, Oh.; grandchildren, Jack Turner, Robert Hill, and Katherine Hill; great-granddaughter, Jessica Turner; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with Charles Patterson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Grandview Memory Garden, on the Bluefield-Tazewell Road.
