Marlin David "Manny" Knouse, 52, of RR 1, died Sunday, April 29, 2001, in Sunbury Community Hospital. He was born Oct 24, 1948, in Mount Pleasant Mills, son of David Charles & Joanna Fisher Knouse. He worked for Geisinger Medical Center and was a member of Arbogast's Lutheran Church and its council and active in church activities; Liverpool American Legion and National Rifle Association, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Military Veteran: SMSGT US AIR FORCE VIETNAM. Surviving are his wife, Sara Strauser Knouse; two daughters, Betty Beck of Buffalo, N.Y. and Lucinda Perkoski of Selinsgrove; two brothers, Richard of Richfield and James of Mount Pleasant Mills; six sisters, Janet Miller and Patricia Campbell, and Cindy Fawver, all of Liverpool, and Julia Troutman, Darlene Strawser and Connie Bollinger, all of Mount Pleasant Mills and four grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills. Burial will be in Arbogast Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 1702 Warren Ave., Williamsport 17701.
