Millie went with her Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Lakeshore Assisted Living in Grand Haven. She was born November 14, 1937, in Ludington, Michigan, to Lyman and Nettie (Saurs) French.

She married "the love of her life," Donald M. Bishop, on August 7, 1954.

Millie is survived by her children: Melvin Lee (Twila) Bishop, Donna (Charles) Heinz, Donald Bishop Jr.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Eileen Bishop. Millie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Don.

She was a faithful member of The Salvation Army Church. Millie's family was her pride and joy. She was fun loving and will be remembered for all her creativity and baking treats.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021, at The Salvation Army Church in Grand Haven. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
