Daniel Fullerton, a former resident of Goshen, where he was for a number of years turnkey at the county jail, and later clerk at the Occidental and St. Elmo Hotels, died Saturday at his home at 35 James Street, in Middle­town, after an illness of three years and seven months with Bright's disease.

He was an honorary member of Monhagen Hose Co., of Middletown, in which he held a 50-year membership certificate; was very popular with his friends and acquaintances of which he had many.

Mr. Fullerton was born at Slate Hill, Dec. 15, 1848, a son of Daniel and Jane Whittaker Fullerton. He was married to Ada Adams, daughter of the late Gabriel Adams, March 7, 1871. Mrs. Ada Fullerton died in Middletown. Feb. 6, 1888. One daughter, Lulu, who has since died, blessed the union. On Oct. 9, 1901, he married Indamora Palmer, who still survives. Surviving sisters are Mrs. C. A. Wells, Mrs. J. B. Crosby, Mrs. R. H. Dolson, Mrs. M. F. Hen­drickson, Mrs. F. M. Heath, and one brother, J. Ogden Fullerton.

Funeral services were held from his late home this afternoon at one p.m. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown.
