Joyce Marie Pinion, age 68, of Raven, Virginia went home in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, following a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer.
Joyce was born on March 24, 1953, in Richlands, Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Cleat and Trula Tuggle Dye. She had worked for twenty-five years at Acme Markets in Doran, Virginia; and had worked ten years at Food City in Claypool Hill, Virginia. She attended the Raven Assembly of God and was a lifelong resident of the Raven area.

Funeral service for Joyce Marie Pinion will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Pastor Doug Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Blake Jewel, Austin Wall, Christopher Pinion, Wayne Pinion, Matthew Thompson and Wayne Thompson.
