James T. ''Tom'' Adams, 61, died in Clarion, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, April 3, 2002. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Gibbs; son and daughter-in-law: Randy L. and Claudia Adams; daughter and son-in-law: Cindy K. Adams-Jessee and Brent Jessee; sisters: Linda Osborne, June Adams, Dana Bruns, Nola Wheeler and Pam Morris; Brothers: Steve and Roger Adams; Grandhchildren: Beth Adams and Shawn Jordan and step grandchildren: Morgan and Brian Jessee.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, James T. and Lillian (Gibbs) Adams.

Mr. Adams was a member of the Masonic Lodge of New Carlisle, Ohio; Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and the Antioch Shrine Temple of Dayton.

He was employed with Active Transportation of Springfield, Ohio; former owner and operator of Tom's Sohio in New Carlisle and Eldridge Auto Body Shop in Dayton, Ohio.

Viewing for Mr. Adams will be from 2-5 PM Sunday, April 7 at Barid Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Masonic services Sunday. Funeral service will be at 10:00 Monday, April 8, 2002 with burial in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, Ohio.
