GIRTSELL'S OBITUARY
Funeral services for Girtsell Clarise Harper, of Hanceville, AL will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 18th at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Duck River Cemetery. Reverends Wendell Peterson, Richard Roberts and Barbara Trussell will be officiating. The family will welcome guests for a visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, October 17th from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Harper was born on March 8, 1929 to Grover and Dora (Byrum) Roberts in Blount County, Alabama. She died at the age of 92 on October 16, 2021 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab Center in Hanceville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dennis Harper; sons, infant Robert Harper and James Earl Reynolds; great grandson, Skyler Morton; sister, Era Walker; and brother Jerold (Georgia) Roberts.

Survivors include her granddaughters, Dana Reynolds Leipert and Donna Reynolds Segers; daughter-in-law, Dianne (Reynolds) Stewart; great grandchildren, Jeremiah Thompson, Alana Leipert, Dylan (Laura) Morton; great-great grandson due in January; sister, Dot Cole; nieces and nephews; friends; and Riverside Church family where she attended until her health declined.
