Marjorie Luckow, age 94, a resident of The Court at Felician Village, Manitowoc, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, October 9, 2021, at Unity Hospice in De Pere, WI.

Marjorie was born on May 14, 1927, in the Town of Gibson, daughter of the late Charles and Emily (Stangel) Krcma. She graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1944. On November 25, 1948, she married William L. Luckow at Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Tisch Mills, WI. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2007. Marjorie was employed at Jagemann Stamping Company of Manitowoc from 1961 to 1989 as office manager and personal secretary to William Jagemann, Sr. and William Jagemann, Jr. In 1967, Marjorie and her husband purchased Luckow Landscape Service, which they operated jointly until their retirement in 1987. She was a member of the St. Clare Society and a longtime member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Marjorie was devoted to God and her strong faith always helped her see the good in everyone. She loved nature and enjoyed working in her flower garden. There are many fond memories of times spent with family and friends at Peninsula State Park. Later, she enjoyed many summers at their property in Door County. She especially loved time spent there with her grandson Jonathan. Marjorie and her husband spent many years wintering in Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Shari and Doug Hight, Green Bay; one grandson: Jonathan and Anna Hight, Jacksonville Beach, FL; two great granddaughters: Harper and June; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Lorraine Kochan, Manitowoc, Kathy and Frank Zeman, Mishicot; and three sisters-in-law: Kay Krema, Rockford, IL, Carol Krcma, Manitowoc, Clara Krcma, Denmark. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law: Adeline and Milton Zander, Leona and Virgil Zipperer; eight brothers and six sisters-in-law: Francis and Etta Krema, Charles Krema, Gilbert Krcma, Emil and Lorraine Krcma, Daniel and Norma Krcma, Eugene and Rita Krcma, Paul Krcma, Joseph and Lorraine Krcma; and four brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo (1121 N. 14th Street), Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, October 22, 2021, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, Manitowoc, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.

Due to the current pandemic, the family is requesting all visitors wear masks for the service.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Manitowoc, or the Salvation Army Food Pantry, Manitowoc.
