Born Wallace, Lincoln resident 56 years, educated at Farnam schools and University of Nebraska, served Internal Revenue Dept. as chief deputy collector, was an auditor for Municipal Court; CPA and tax consultant since 1924, associated with Peat, Marwick Mitchell and Co.; first president in 1928 of Nebraska Society of Certified Accountants, veteran WWI; member of American Institute of Accountants, American Legion Post 3, Alpha Kappa Psi, Westminster Presbyterian.
Survivors: wife, Katharine; sons, Norman K., Overland Park, Kan., James S., Canoga Park, Calif.; daughters, Mrs. W. O. (Janet) McMahon, Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Georgia Herring, Sandusky, Ohio, Mrs. H. V. Hickman, Ogallala, Neb.; sisters, Mrs. R. E. Hodgson, Lexington, Miss Nina Cook, Cozad; 15 grandchildren.
