Born on August 22, 1937, Cecil was the son of William "Frankie" and Madge (Simmons) Haggard. They preceded him in death, along with two sisters, Catherine and Charlotte. On November 24, 1798, Cecil married Shirley Ann Mason.
Cecil worked for Ireco Explosives for 38 years. Although he retired, he was always busy. Cecil and Shirley enjoyed raising cattle, cutting wood, and babysitting their great-grandkids.
Cecil is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; four children, Karen (Russell) Boden, Tom (Rena) Haggard, Doug (Terry) Lee, and Brent (Kelly) Lee; seven grandchildren, Allen (Michelle) Finley, Katie Lacey, Courtney (Nick) Engelhart, Brian (Kate) Lee, Kevin (Emily) Lee, Chance (Stephanie) Lee, Chelsey (Chance) Hood; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Makenna, Garrett, Emma, Katie, Maddy, Kaylee, Isaiah, Katie, Michael, Allie, Emma Pace, Zolee Jo, Harlee Ann and Waylon Creek.
The family will hold private services at a later date.
