A. Wynell Tharpe Burke, 87, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at her home in Port St. Joe, Florida. Wynell was born to Roy C. and Lois Salters Tharpe on May 16, 1934, in Hosford, Florida. She was preceded in death by, her husband Jimmy Burke (married 35 years); her sisters Elise Rogers, Margaret Adams, Betty Tharpe, Pat Watson and her brother Charles Tharpe. She is survived by, her two children, Mitch Burke (Sabrina) and Sissy Godwin (Scott); and seven grandchildren.
