Aberdeen --- Robert Lee Bristol, 76 died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Oak Tree Plantation in Amory. He was born Jan. 30, 1931 in Monroe County to Joel Lee Bristol and Mae Pearl Roebuck Bristol.

He was a long time resident of Monroe County and graduated from Becker High School in 1950. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the VFW. He was a retired supervisor at Vista Chemical in Aberdeen and owner of Bristol Skating Rink in Aberdeen.

Services will be at 2p.m. Monday at the Tinsdale-Lann Memorial Home Chapel in Aberdeen with Bro. Jesse Betts and Bro. George Collins Jr. officiating. Blurial will be in the Goodfellows Rest Cemetery with military rites.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Lee Bristol Gore and husband Shawn. One sister, Dorothy Hood, two grandchildren, Hunter Taylor and Kelsey Taylor and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
