In loving memory of Francis A. Barba who was born May 8, 1971. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and a wonderful friend to many that was taken away too soon...Francis was my wife's 1st cousin.

Francis loved going on adventures and road trips, along with her country music. She loved her Dallas Cowboys, but most of all, she loved her family. Francis welcomed everyone that came to her home and made it feel like home for them. She was a joy to be around and was always there for everyone, asking if they ever needed anything. Francis had such an amazing and loving heart. She was an amazing wife, an excellent mom and a superhero-like grandmother.

Francis was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in January 2020. She continued to battle courageously until the very last moment on October 6, 2021. On that final day, she tied her battle with cancer because cancer did not win, did not deter her faith nor did it beat her personality. She fought until the very end when God decided it was time for her fight to be over and called her home by His side.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Barba, her three children, Jose Barba, Jr., Angelica Yvette Barba and Gabriel Barba, along with Lilly Garcia.

Afterglow

I'd like the memory of me
to be a happy one
I'd like to leave an afterglow
of smiles when life is done
I'd like to leave an echo whispering
softly down the ways
Of happy times and laughing times
and bright and sunny days
I'd like the tears of those who grieve
to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
when life is done.
