Albert Edgar "A.E." Harrell, Jr., age 79 of Powell passed away Friday, November 23, 2007 at his resident.
He was retired from Veterans Steel Inc. (E.S.I.) in 1991 and a member of the Operating Engineer Local No. 917. He bowled in a senior league at Fountain Lanes. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Reba Harrell; wife, Joyce Yadon Harrell; sister, Rhonda Hixson; brother, Jack Harrell.
Survivors; children, Carolyn (Bill) Homerding, Edith and Bill Hopper, Jean Harrell Minck, Martha Harrell Rushing, Reta Harrell (Dennis) Weiss, Ted (Denise) Harrell, Amy Louella Harrell Tidler; 18 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lou Bush, Lela Williams, Hazel (Roy) Drinnen, Sue (Sollie) Hancock, Barbara (Kenneth) Wolfe, Kaye (David) Shelby and Faye Chandler; brother, Jerry (Vickie) Harrell.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Tindell and Rev. David Holt officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home and proceed to Roseberry Cemetery for the interment at 12:00 noon.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Bridges Funeral Home 5430 Rutledge Pike.
