MADISON – Thomas Benton Corum, 69, left this earthly life on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Mayodan Municipal Cemetery with Reverend Tony Ashburn officiating. Friends may sign a register and view Mr. Corum from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison.

Mr. Corum was born on August 25, 1952 in Rockingham County to the late James Ballard Corum and Virginia Sims Corum. Thomas enjoyed cooking and sharing his recipes and will be remembered for his delicious stew recipe. He retired from Unifi, Inc.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Lee Corum; grandson, Bentley Brim and sisters, Emma Holmes, Diane Holmes and Faye Ashburn.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Brim Corum; step-children, Ricky Lee Brim (Brenda) and Johnny Wayne Brim (Jinna); grandchildren, Christian, Meagan, Dustin and Jaxson Brim; great-grandchildren, Maddox Long, Gunter Noble and Mason Howard.

Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
