Roxie was the daughter of Abraham Dudney and Mary Matilda Harris.
She married on February 19, 1878, Winterset, Iowa, to James Morton Hann.

MRS. ROXIE J. HANN
Roxie Jane Hann, daughter of Abraham and Nancy Dudney, was born Nov. 23, 1857 and passed away Jan. 5, 1944 at the Hammond Nursing Home in West Des Moines.
She was united in marriage to James M. (Madison) Hann on Feb. 19, 1878, who preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1936.
They lived for many years on the old homestead in Lincoln township. They were members of the Christian Union church at Ord. Later moving to Winterset they place their membership with the Church of Christ.
They were the parents of five sons and two daughters, one of whom, Nellie Davis, died Jan. 5, 1918 and a son, Charles in Sept. 1943.
She is survived by one daughter and four sons; Styles of Bakersfield, Calif., Forrest of Green, Melvin of Des Moines, Walter of Winterset and Verna Hartsook of Winterset; also one brother, George Dudney of Kansas; in addition to 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends.
Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery, in charge of the Rev. Tom Foglesong of the Winterset Church of Christ.
