Linda Kay Carlton was born on Sunday, September 2, 1951 in Frankston Texas, and passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Elkhart Oaks Care Center. She was born to Horace and Mable Holloway Henderson.

Linda worked for many years as a house cleaner before she got sick. She enjoyed talking with family and friends for hours. She was loved and will be greatly missed by many. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Kathey McCann and husband David of Palestine, Teresa Woodall and husband Darrell of Elkhart; son, Kenneth Carlton of Fort Worth; sister Annie Doris Reed of Bullard; brother Robert Henderson of Frankston; grandchildren Daniel Terrell, Jacob Terrell, Leslie Stevens, Dorothy Woodall, Josh Woodall, Leslie Sanders, Dara Gayle, Alanis Carlton and Kenneth "Bubba" Carlton; and many great-grandchildren .

She is preceded in death by her parents Horace and Mable Henderson; husband Kenneth Carlton; sisters Adeline Emmert, Abeline Johnson Minnie "Lorene" Ivey, Birdie Lee Henderson; brothers Jerry Lee Henderson, Homer Henderson and Terry Don Henderson.

A graveside service to celebrate Mrs. Carlton's life will be at Cedar Creek Cemetery on November 6, 2021, at 11 A.M. with Brother Jacob Richardson officiating.
