Paul David Hussey, age 89, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at his residence. He was born on December 08, 1931 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Louis and Clara (Burrell) Hussey. He married Dorothy J. Morris (Wells) on September 15, 1956, and she survives.

Paul worked for Kroger Food Stores in Lawrenceville and Vincennes for 40 plus years. His memberships included the VFW, Elks, and Lawrence County Country Club. His hobbies included golfing, yard work, doing jigsaw puzzles, being an avid bowler, and wintering in Florida for many years. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one daughter, Charon Lee Hussey; two brothers, John Hussey and Fred Hussey; one sister, Doris Noble-Green; and two grandchildren, Joshua Robert Haist and Jeramiah David Haist.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cathy Wells Haist and husband, Bob of Blairsville, Georgia, Carol Wells Gaddey and husband, David of Tuscola, Illinois, and Cindy Hussey Anthis and husband, David of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; five grandchildren, Heather Dawn Gaddey Ebl and husband, Rob, Heidi Lynn Gaddey Ford and husband, Justin, Holly Marie Gaddey Banta and husband, Rob, Damon Wayne Atkins and wife, Angel, and Felicia Jayne Atkins Fritchley and husband, Buck; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery with military rites.
