Mrs. Annie S. Sims, 90, of Stockbridge, passed away December 6, 2007. She was a member of The Rock Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Robert Sims and son-in-law, Lyle Hanson.
Surviving are her children; Sarah Gann of Stockbridge, Sammy J. Anderson of Senoia, Sandra J. Hanson of Morganton, GA; and Wally Sims of Norcross; brother, Robert Barnes of East Point; sisters, Gladys Jones of Smyrna, Nellie White of Loganville, and Jerome Price of Alabama; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 9, 2007, 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Worthy, officiating. Interment will follow at The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Rex, GA. The family will receive friends TODAY, Saturday, December 8, 2007, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
