Mrs. Elizabeth D. Adams. Mrs. Elizabeth Downey Adams passed away Monday at her home in LaGrange. She was born in East Grove township, Lee county, June 28, 1876. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Sheryl Smith of LaGrange, four brothers, James of Dixon, Dennis of Moline, Joseph of Houston, Texas, Edmund of East Grove and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Drew of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Mary McEndree of Conneaught, Ohio, and Mrs. Frances Morgridge of Freeport.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Buckley-Staples funeral home in Dixon Thursday morning at 8:30 and at 9:30 from the Church of Immaculate Conception at Ohio, Rev. Mazze officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery at Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Wednesday.
