Death Of MRS. GEORGE HANN
Following an illness of six months and several years of poor health, Mrs. Myrtle Lane Hann died at her home west of Winterset, on Oct. 20th, 1917, at the age of 44 years.
She was a native of Madison county, later living in Greenfield, where her marriage took place, then made her home in Peru until the family moved to Winterset.
Her physical condition was critical last spring death being imminent at times. However she grew stronger, but since that illness, she has been an invalid. Mrs. Hann had many friends who recognized her personal worth and regret her early death.
She leaves two children besides her husband and other relatives.
Rev. Jackson Giddens conducted the funeral services in the Methodist church at Peru Sunday with burial in the Peru cemetery.
