William Edward Walker was the first son and child of Mary Ann 'Polly' Nichols and her husband William; he was born on 17th December 1864 at the family home on Kirby Street, High Holborn. William was baptised in the New Year at the Parish Church of St. Bride.
William tragically only lived a year and nine months before passing away in November of 1866. He was laid to rest on 1st December at Tower Hamlets Cemetery in a common burial grave.
