WENDELL – Charles "Eddie" Edward Williams, 74, went home Wednesday. He was born in Wake County and was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Williams Boughman. He retired from Hopkins Oil Company after 42 years. He worked hard all his life & had a positive outlook. Eddie's family was his world.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ann Adams Williams of the home, children, Michael Williams (Lisa) of Knightdale, Wayne Williams of Washington, DC, Cindy Jackson (Tommy) of Zebulon, Michael Creech (Valerie) of Selma, 7 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
