Anna Maria Dandridge Mitchell married noted mathematician Luther Pfahler Eisenhart of Princeton University on August 18, 1908 in Maine. The couple made their home in Princeton New Jersey. On March 11, 1913 while the couple was visiting Luther's brother Martin Eisenhart in Rochester NY, Anna gave birth to their son Churchill. Churchill survived to lead an active and fruitful life but, for reasons currently unknown, Anna died 9 days after she had given birth. No death certificate has been found in either New York or New Jersey. Anna's Will was probated in both New Jersey and West Virginia. Any information about Anna's death and burial or other disposition would be most welcome.
