Son of Greenberry Roberts and Eleanor Caldwell Ewing.

Like his brothers, William was a doctor. He fled Missouri for Arkansas as a political refugee and died there in 1865. A Missouri Supreme Court Case describes these details.

William and Aletha were second cousins once removed, via their Ewing lines.
