AGE 64 YEARS

Carl T. (Bear) Ohnmeiss, a longtime resident of Williamsport, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at U.P.M.C. Williamsport Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late John H. and Sarah Jeannette (Hinkal) Ohnmeiss. He attended Williamsport schools and the Harrisburg Area Community College. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, attending Native American Pow Wows and collecting items associated with Native American Culture. He enjoyed recycling scrap metals and loved animals. He also enjoyed travel and hanging out with friends.

He is survived by his two brothers, John H. A. Ohnmeiss of Williamsport and Jeff L. Ohnmeiss of Camp Hill, his wife, the former Elsie K. Pyle of Williamsport and many nieces and nephews.

Carl had been employed at the former Buckeye Pretzel Company at Williamsport and the former Stroehmann's Bakery at Williamsport.

Memorial services will be held at the Chapel of Wildwood Cemetery, 1151 Cemetery Street, Williamsport, at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021. Rev. Carl Vining, Pastor of Amazing Grace Ministries at Montgomery, Pa., officiating. Burial will be private at Wildwood Cemetery.
