Alexis Christine Wilkins, age 24, resident of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away Monday July 26th, 2021 at 3:00am. She was born Sunday, July 6th, 1997 to Codrington and Florence Wilkins in the Bronx New York. Alexis majored in Biology at Central Piedmont Community College. She was recently promoted to team lead at Amazon CLT- 3 in Concord, NC. Alexis aka "Lexita &Texis" was a very family oriented person. Alexis would often speak about her love and desire to spend time with her family. She looked forward to family trips, events, outings, or simple celebrations.

Alexis was an enigma and did all things in silence. She was an elusive person who shied away from overt attention. She was subtle and non-consuming. She had a love for people and life. Alexis had a knack for bringing out the best in children and the elderly.

Alexis was a very talented and gifted young woman with many interests; amongst them was her passion for music, art, and writing poetry. She played several instruments, was an artist and an avid reader. She loved nature: the wind, the rain, and the sun. She enjoyed storms, mist and the still of the night. Being outdoors and interacting with animals was a must for Alexis. For Ms. Alexis, God's creations were poetic like a well-tuned symphony.

Alexis was actively involved in church and her love for God resonated in her life. When she was feeling challenged, she would call her parents and ask for prayer. She enjoyed helping others, serving and praise and worship, as she lifted her hands in complete surrender to the ALL-MIGHTY GOD.
