Our beloved, Mary Jane (Spade) Biltz journeyed to our Lord November 2nd, 2021. We rejoice over how God had blessed us with her life. She loved our Lord: she would read the Bible cover to cover every year, pray the rosary every day, and always pray for her family, friends, the sick and the sorrowful. Mary Jane was passionate about her family, children, kittens, and puppies. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed "Who Done It?" mysteries. She was a schoolteacher and librarian for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crochet, and quilting.

Mary Jane Spade was born January 2nd, 1954. She was the daughter of Leonard Leroy Spade and Roselma Catherine (Hauser) Spade, both deceased. She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years, Timothy Biltz; a daughter, Mary Rose Therese Schiemann (Matthew); and two sons, Ned Matthew Biltz and Vincent Stephen Paul Biltz; two brothers, Mark Spade (Yvonne) and John Spade; stepsister-in-law, Susan Edmunds; sisters-in-law, Gayle Beuke, Wendy (Dennis) Majerus, Jeanne Hearne, Mary Lark (Terry) Corbett, Kevin (Gary) Ruegg; brothers-in-law, Greg (Patti) Biltz, Harry (Melanie) Biltz, Mark (Vicki) Biltz; 45 nieces and nephews; and her best friend for 53 years, Alicia Holzmeister.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 8, 2021 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Haven, Kansas. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will greet friends from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, November 7, at Ott Funeral Home, Haven. In lieu of flowers, either donate children's books or a monetary donation to the Haven Public Library or pray for the forgotten, the unwanted and the unloved. They had Mary Jane's heart. Any cards or donations may be sent to Ott Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Haven, KS 67543.
