OAK GROVE, April 3 (Special) Funeral services for Colan Axton, 54, of the Fiske-Union community, were held at 10 am today at the Assembly of God church in Fiske-Union. The Rev. Harry McCoen officiated. Axton died Thursday at his home. Burial, under the direction of the Catron-Gay funeral home of Oak Grove, was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Axton is survived by his wife:
Mrs. Ozella Axton
His son:
Rupert Axton of Tallulah
Three daughters:
Mrs. Myrtle Axton Morin of Gunnison, Mississippi
Mrs. Lorine Axton McCowan of Chicago, Illinois
Miss Carolyn Axton of Fiske-Union.
