Maude B. Seddon, St. Luke Manor Nursing Home in Hazleton, formerly of Mahanoy City, died this morning at the nursing home where she resided since October 1986.
Born in Locust Valley, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth Parfitt Burkey. She lived most of her life in Mahanoy City. She worked for Janowitch Dress Factory, Mahanoy City. Mrs. Seddon was a member of Salem Evangelical Congregational Church, Mahanoy City. Her husband, Alfred, died in 1961.
Surviving are two sons: Thomas, Marion, OH; and Daniel, Mahanoy City; two daughters: Kathryn Seddon and Elizabeth Cope, both of Allentown; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Truscowsky Funeral Home, Mahanoy City, is in charge of arrangements.
