Tolly Freeman Gathright died on Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at his home in Jackson. He was a native of De Kalb, Miss., and a longtime resident of Jackson. He was retired after working for 20 years as an electronics technician for Colonial Pipeline. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Burial in Port Hudson National Cemetery on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. David Murray. He is survived by two daughters, Angie Gathright Richardson and her husband, Rusty Richardson, of Zachary and Wendy Richardson and her husband, Darren Richardson, of St. Francisville; and four grandchildren, Jake Richardson, Zack Richardson, Ashley Richardson and Payton Richardson. Pallbearers will be Rusty Richardson, Darren Richardson, Jake Richardson, Zack Richardson, Payton Richardson, Kirk Gathright and Paul Martin. Honorary pallbearer is Ashley Richardson.
