LANSE - Carl E. Johnson, 89, of Lanse died Thursday, May 9, 1991, at his residence.
Born Nov. 15, 1901, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Carl and Hilda (Lyons) Erickson.
He was first married to Esther Swanson, who preceded him in death in August 1967. His second wife, Anna Forsell, preceded him in death in 1979.
He was a retired machine operator for Harbison-Walker, where he worked for 15 years.
He is survived by these children: Clinton of Mumford, N.Y., Lincoln of Rochester, N.Y., Wesley of Fort Myers, Fla., Gordon of Pittsburgh, and Pauline Schnarrs and Marylyn Johnson, both of Bedford, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was the last of his generation.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were in charge of the Dahlgren and Gilham Funeral Home of Philipsburg.
