Clyde Dwight Henderson, age 92, of Ballwin, Missouri, formerly of southern Illinois, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 10:53 a.m. in St. Luke's Hospital, Chesterfield, Missouri.

Clyde was born on February 1, 1929 in Plumfield, Illinois, a son of Chesley Henderson and Katie Henderson.

He served in the Air Force from 1949 to 1952.

He married Geraldine on Aug 17 1955 at Warder Street Baptist Church in Marion, Illinois and she survives him.

Clyde spent his entire working career working as an engineer for Western Electric.

He was a very hard working man and was a member of the American Legion and Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wildwood, Missouri.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine of Ballwin; his daughter, Jill (Martin) of Warsaw, Missouri; his son, Mark of Fenton, Missouri; his sister, Freda and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held at Crain Funeral Home-Egyptian Chapel in Energy, Illinois on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with remarks from his family. Private interment will follow in Egyptian Memorial Gardens.
