Myrtle Ozella Riley was the daughter of Lonzo Riley and Nancy Maud Riley. Ozella grew up in Somervell County, TX and Johnson County, TX where she was always faithful to the Lord and active in the local church.

She married her Sunday School teacher and widower with 5 children, Albert Isaac Lampman, in 1935.

Ozella and AI had two children: Albert Isaac, Jr and Gladys Virginia. Ozella was also step-mother to Vernon Lee Lampman, Nedra Olline, Lawrence Henry Lampman, Edward Isaac and Vivian Jean Lampman, AI's children with his first wife Rosa Lee Robinson.

Every Sunday, visitors would stay with Lampman family and attend services at the church. Visitors probably liked to stay with AI and Ozella because of her cooking skills. No one fried chicken like Ozella. One of her other skills was as a seamstress. She made all the clothes for the kids and sewed all kinds of things for the house.

AI and Ozella had the kind of marriage to which we all aspire. They were married 35 years until AI's death in 1970. Ozella did not remarry nor did she ever remove her wedding band until her death in 1993.
