Inscription on a tablet in St. George's Church, Bannu: "In Memory of ... Arthur James Grant Indian Civil Service Deputy Commissioner of Bannu from the 21st Jan 1900 to the 17th July 1900 who died of Cholera at Edwardesabad the 17th July 1900. This Tablet is erected by brother Officers and friends as a token of affection and regard."
