Our beloved Mom, grandma, and sister, Jolene Christensen, 80, returned to our father in Heaven surrounded by her family. She was born to Ivan and Ina Adams in Layton where she lived throughout her childhood. She graduated from Davis High School in 1960 and then from cosmetology. She worked for the IRS and Hill Air Force Base.

Jolene married her high school sweetheart Ronald Christensen on June 10, 1960. They were later sealed in the Sale Lake Temple on March 22, 1986 for time and all eternity. They have 2 boys, John and Barry.

She loved bowling, making quilts, fleece blankets, crocheting plastic hand bags, cooking, baking, camping, hunting, fishing, being with her family and serving others. She also loved the Utah Jazz so much that she would watch all their games and kept her own player stats.

She was known throughout her community as the Pizza Lady.

Jolene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a temple ordinance worker for 17 years, which she dearly loved. She also served as a cannery worker, compassionate service committee and RS birthday card specialist.

She is survived by her 2 children: John (Sandy) Christensen of Roy, UT; and Barry Christensen of Brigham City, UT; five grandchildren, Steven, Tiffany, Michelle, Michael, and Tiesha and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister and one brother: Maude Harper of Sunset, UT and Merlin (Pat) Adams of Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11 am at the Milton Church. A viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 pm at Walker Mortuary in Morgan and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 am at the Church.

Interment will be held at the Kaysville Cemetery.
