He was a member of Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church where he loved to spend his time. He retired from Dominion Virginia Power after 30 years of service, and enjoyed hunting in his free time.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Peggy Allen; son, Claude Allen Jr.; and grandson, Joshua Allen.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher Allen and Brian Allen (Teri); brother-in-law, Rick Prince; and several brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832 with
Rev. Susie Atkinson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church, 211 Lynchburg Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
