Mary Katherine Kawaihau-Killen, 78, of Hauula, a kupuna for Hawaiian Help Our Beloved Organize Self, died Saturday in Honolulu. She was also a music director at St. Joachim's Catholic Church. Born in Punaluu, she is survived by sons Stephen Kalili, Mitchell Balutski and Darrell Killen; daughter Annette Manuel; brother Moses Kalili; sister Ottillia Santiago; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Rosary: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joachim's Catholic Church. Call after 8 a.m. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Memorial services: 7 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Music Ministry of St. Joachim's Catholic Church. Casual attire.
