Sandra Elaine Koontz Gregoire, 84, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Thomasville Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday at Paul's Chapel Reformed Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Aaron Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm until 8 pm on Monday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mrs. Gregoire was born on April 20, 1937 in Plattsburgh, NY to Nobe Ray Koontz, Sr. and Marjorie Stutts Koontz. She was a retired Chief Secretary and Dispatcher, having worked for the Hampden Police Department in Hampden, MA and was a very talented painter. Mrs. Gregoire devoted her life to her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Normand Joseph Gregoire; and a brother, Nobe Ray Koontz, Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, April Diane Laviolette (Peter) of Lexington, Raymond Adam Gregoire (Michelle) of Belchertown, MA, and Todd Alan Ely of Monson, MA; a sister, Nina Conroy (David) of VA; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Koontz of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren, Scott, Dustin, Dwight, Melissa, Jonathan, and Cody; and her three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Noah, and Aliana.
