Myrtle Bernice Roblee – 94, Belmont, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday morning, November 11, 2021, at Debert Court, Debert. Born in Belmont, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Sadie (Brunt) Armsworthy.

Myrtle was a member of Belmont United Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting, and each one of her children and countless others have been gifted with her labours of love where every stitch was stitched with love. She was a wonderful cook and baker and worked at The Palliser Restaurant and various other restaurants. She enjoyed being physically active and enjoyed being outside in nature whether it was walking, skating or biking; her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will fondly remember the many happy memories of their adventures with her. Apart from her only children, she welcomed many foster children into her home over the years, nurturing them as her own and giving them a stable and safe home.

Myrtle is survived by her children, Carol (Gerald) Weatherby, Belmont; Arleen (Jack) Weatherbee, Truro; Barbara (Lee) Simpson, Great Village; Jim (Wendy) Roblee, Belmont; grandchildren, Joan-anne Weatherbee (Roland Hersey), Truro; Barbie Lee Simpson (Jamie Smith), Londonderry; Jackie Weatherbee, Port Simpson, British Columbia; Dana Weatherbee (Dawn Skeaff), Belmont; Lisa Weatherbee, Stewiacke; Michael (Sarah) Weatherby, Kincardin, Ontario; Laurena Miller (Erin O'Malley), Truro; sisters, Jean Currie (Emery Cormier), Five Islands; Carol Huntley, Truro; several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Orland Roblee; grandson, Travis Weatherbee; great grandson, Nicholas Forbes; 11 siblings.

Special thanks are extended to the staff of Debert Court for their exceptional care and treating our Mom like family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where a private family funeral service will be held. Interment in Belmont Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Myrtle's memory to Belmont United Baptist Church are welcomed.
